Guided Trail Tours
This page has been resurrected from the archives to put back what was lost in the natural progression of time. Guided trail tours for all age groups throughout the year include information about:
- How animals and plants prepare for seasonal changes
- Identifying native plants, animals, insects, etc
- Principles of personal stewardship of our natural resources
Each grade level has a specific theme for a trail tour, and it's OK to ask for theme modifications. Work with our Education Coordinator to develop a program to meet the needs of your students.
(Programs are available for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Campfire to meet badge and patch requirements. Educational tours for families and small groups, of at least 8 people, are available on weekends and some evenings. Call 767-0843 for further information.)
